CAMP OLIVAS — Two members of the Mabalacat City police were killed in Barangay Dau in the city, reports said.
Initial investigation revealed that PSMS Sofronio Capitle Jr. and PSSG Dominador Gacusan Jr., operatives of the Mabalacat City police, were shot dead on Saturday in Bgy. Dau by five armed bonnet-wearing suspects on board two motorcycles after the two cops conducted an anti-illegal drugs operation in the area.
Central Luzon police director Brig. Gen. Cesar Pasiwen has ordered Pampanga police commander Col. Levi Hope Basilio to conduct an in-depth investigation to fast track the solution of the case.
Pasiwen vowed that no stone will be left unturned and authorities are exerting all efforts to identify the suspects and the motive behind the attack.
