2 female drug peddlers yield over P3.4-M shabu 

Members of the PDEA Region 3 on Sunday arrested two women believed to be involved in the bulk distribution of illegal drugs in Metro Manila and nearby towns in Bulacan and Pampanga, and seized from them over P3 million worth of shabu.

PDEA-3 operatives secured a drug deal with the suspects for a kilo of shabu and agreed to meet in front of a popular food chain in Sta. Cruz, Manila.

The suspects were identified as Ainnah Salgan alias Ali, 64, and Norhanna Canapia, 19, both of Bgy. 648 C. Palanca Sr. St., San Miguel, Manila.

The drug sting yielded five knot-tied plastic containing at least 500 grams of shabu valued P3,450,000 and the marked money.

The two suspects will be charged with violation of Section 5 (sale of dangerous drugs) in relation to section 26B (conspiracy to sell drugs) of RA 9165.
