CAMP OLIVAS — Over  900 pupils from the Camp Olivas Elementary School learned the proper way to brush their teeth and each received a new set of dental kit when the PRO3 Officers Ladies Club visited the school for their outreach program.

Led by Zinnia Pasiwen and Gina Vargas, the PRO3-OLC collaborated with the Regional Medical and Dental Unit 3 led by LRMDU3 OIC Lt. Col. Jesus Ostrea and Camp Olivas Elementary School  principal Leonardo D. Lobo for the conduct of the outreach program.

Dubbed “Handog Pasasalamat ng PRO3 Officer’s Ladies Club ngayong Feb-ibig,” a medical and dental team from RMDU3 held lectures on dengue awareness and dental-oral hygiene care followed by fluoridation of the students.

Pasiwen also distributed oral hygiene kits and food packs to all elementary schoolers.

Those who joined the activity were Pampanga OLC headed by Liezel C. Basilio and RCADD3 chief Col. Marites Salvadora.

“I commend the PRO3 Officers Ladies Club and Pampanga PPO for this initiative. Such work strengthens the police and community partnership which is in line with our ongoing KASIMBAYANAN program,” PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Cesar Pasiwen said.

The activity is in line with the celebration of the National Dental Health Month.
