CITY OF SAN FERNANDO — With just six days left before the 2025 National and Local Elections, the Pampanga Police Provincial Office is ramping up its security preparations to ensure a safe, peaceful, and orderly electoral process across the province.
At around 10 AM on May 5, 2025, PCol Jay C. Dimaandal, Provincial Director Pampanga PPO, led the pre-deployment briefing and ceremonial send-off for 194 additional police personnel who will be deployed throughout Pampanga in support of election-related duties.
The contingent includes 100 officers and personnel from the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) Regional Headquarters, consisting of both Police Commissioned Officers (PCOs) and Police Non-Commissioned Officers (PNCOs). Joining them are 94 newly graduated students from the Basic Internal Security Operations Course (BISOC), who will be assigned to various City and Municipal Police Stations (CPS/MPS) across the province.
“These additional forces will significantly strengthen our ground presence as we intensify security operations in preparation for the upcoming elections,” said PCol Dimaandal. “We are committed to safeguarding the democratic process and ensuring the safety of our communities as voters head to the polls.”
The Pampanga PPO, under the supervision of PRO3 Regional Director PBGen Jean S. Fajardo, has been conducting comprehensive election security operations in coordination with the Commission on Elections (COMELEC), Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), and other stakeholders.
