Angeles City executives deliver help to bedridden local

Chief Adviser IC Calaguas hands over cash aid to the patient’s son Paul Gilbert Bustillo

ANGELES CITY — Chief Adviser IC Calaguas and Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel on Aug. 11, 2022 personally visited a bedridden patient to deliver financial assistance, medicine, milk, and diaper supplies, using their talent fees as Beautéderm Ambassadors.

They were joined by Irish Bonus-Llego, Angeles City Economic Development and Investment Promotions Head.

Upon learning about the medical condition of Marilyn Bustillo, 59, of Barangay Sto. Domingo, Manuel and Calaguas immediately asked her son, Paul Gilbert Bustillo, for a visit.

The elder Bustillo has been inflicted with dementia for four years.

“As Beautéderm Ambassadors, it has been our vow to extend a helping hand to the needy, especially those who are struggling with medical needs,” Manuel said.

Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr., who has always looked out for the welfare of bedridden patients in the city, also sent personal cash assistance.

The City Social Welfare and Development Office is also processing the financial medical assistance for Bustillo.

Manuel and Calaguas, both Beautéderm Ambassadors, also thanked the Corporation for being an instrument in delivering their advocacies.

“We would also like to thank our Beautéderm family, led by President and Chief Executive Officer Rei Anicoche-Tan, for being an instrument in delivering our advocacies, using our talent fees as Ambassadors,” they stated.

The son expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the local executives, Mayor Lazatin, and the city government, for their personal visit and assistance.

“Maraming salamat po. Malaking tulong po ito, para mga pangangailangan ni Mama,” he said.

Recently, Calaguas and Manuel also extended a helping hand to a cancer patient from Barangay Cutud.
