Angeles City’s Kambal Festival trade fair opens

ANGELES CITY — The “Kambal Festival Trade Fair” featuring products of the city’s One Town One Product store has opened to the public starting Oct. 11.

Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. led the ribbon cutting ceremony at the Plaza Anghel, Museo Ning Angeles.

The trade fair will be up until October 27, 2023, from 8 AM to 8 PM.

“Our administration will continue promoting locally-made products, hosting various trade fairs as part of this year’s Fiestang Kuliat celebration,” Lazatin said.

Mayor Lazatin was joined by Chief Adviser IC Calaguas, Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel, Angeles City Economic Development and Investment Promotion Office headed by Irish Bonus-Llego, and the Mutya Ning Angeles 2023 candidates during the opening ceremony.

Barangay Sto. Rosario Captain Rey Cosme also showed support to the Angeleño products.

Lazatin noted the support of the Beautéderm Corporation led by President and Chief Executive Officer Rei Anicoche-Tan; Luchie Lozano of Prime City Hotel and Songdo Restaurant; and Hannah Gasperson of La Hermoza Royal to the event, for giving away prizes for the OTOP raffle.

Among the member-merchants who are part of the trade fair are: Impact Balibago Arts and Crafts, K’s Creations, Tamayuq, JJBMS, Chilona, Izzamway, Teresa’s Mashroom, Jaq’s Kitchen, Modesta Empanada, Corndog, Overnasi, Nature’s Harvest, Samarino Accessories, Woodcraft by Madison, Tabak’s, Raj, Cutud Weavers, EllenTurla, Flores Handicraft, and Organics Farmers.

The OTOP store was revitalized in 2019, as one of the flagship projects of the Lazatin administration.
