ARTA joins CDC in launching Business One-Stop Shop in Clark

The Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) joined the Clark Development Corporation (CDC) in launching the Business One-Stop Shop (BOSS) facility in the Clark Freeport Zone (CFZ), Pampanga, on November 6, 2023.

The CDC’s BOSS streamlines the process of obtaining essential documents for investors, greatly enhancing convenience and efficiency. It offers a range of services, from pre-application counseling to post-approval monitoring, to make the process as smooth and efficient as possible.

It will simplify the often cumbersome journey of document processing for businesses, which will benefit locators and a combined workforce of thousands of individuals in the area.

CDC President and CEO Atty. Agnes VST Devanadera welcomed ARTA Secretary Ernesto V. Perez at the official inauguration and has shared utmost support and appreciation for the agency’s role in streamlining government processes and procedures.

“We feel that the hands of the national government is being extended to us because no less than the Cabinet Secretary, Secretary Ernesto Perez is here with us,” said Atty. Devanadera.

“So, with all the contributed efforts of everybody, we would like to welcome Secretary Perez and everybody is looking forward to less of red tapes and more of consistent policies,” she added.

The BOSS facility is a significant development in the CFZ, as it aims to enhance the attractiveness of the area as a premier investment destination. It benefits an estimated 1,161 locators and 136,836 employees in Clark and is expected to attract even more foreign investments in the future.

“The Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA), the Clark Development Corporation (CDC), and all government agencies under the visionary leadership of President Marcos share a steadfast commitment to enhancing bureaucratic efficiency and elevating the ease of doing business in our beloved country,” Secretary Perez said.

“ARTA stands ready to support CDC in all its endeavors to further enhance the delivery of government services in Clark,” the ARTA Chief added.

The launching of the CDC BOSS is one of the significant initiatives that bring support to the ease of doing business and to the directives of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. to improve bureaucratic efficiency in the Philippines. It is a testament to the commitment of ARTA and CDC to streamlining government processes and procedures, and to providing investors with a more convenient and efficient way of doing business in the Philippines.
