CLARK FREEPORT— Fifty Clark Development Corporation (CDC) frontline employees have completed the two-part basic profiling and document examination training series developed in collaboration with the Bureau of Immigration (BI).
The training centered on enhancing employees’ abilities to recognize hazards, detect fraudulent documents, and conduct thorough applicant interviews. The training was held in the Health and Sanitation Division Training Hall on 21 and 22 June 2023.
Atty. Devanadera, CDC president and chief executive officer, lauded the Bureau for their invaluable assistance in aligning CDC processes with Bureau rules and regulations.
“We believe that this collaboration will enable CDC frontline employees to contribute to strengthening the security and integrity of the visa application process,” said Atty. Devanadera.
BI Deputy Spokesperson Melvin Mabulac, Document and Fingerprint Examiner Edward Neil Armstrong Nathaniel L. Fereira II, Chief of the Anti-Fraud Section Marivic Regencia Beltrano, and shared their valuable knowledge and insights to attendees.
Also in attendance were Atty. Noelle Mina Meneses, Vice President for Business Development and Business Enhancement Group (BDBEG), and Rodem Perez, Assistant Vice President for Business Development. The frontline employees represent CDC’s BDBEG, Trade Facilitation, and Public Safety divisions.
This training initiative signals the beginning of the CDC’s ongoing partnership with the BI to improve processes and foster collaboration for the benefit of all Freeport stakeholders.
