Central Luzon cops net 2 drug suspects

CAMP OLIVAS – Two suspected drug peddlers, who yielded over P260,000 worth of shabu, were arrested in separate operations in Pampanga and Bulacan.

Joint elements of the Mabalacat SDEU and SOU3 PDEG arrested suspect Marlon Santos, 44, in an entrapment in Bgy. San Joaquin in Mabalacat City.

Confiscated from him were three plastic sachets of shabu worth P102,000. 

Meanwhile, operatives of the Norzagaray police conducted a buy-bust in Bgy. Tigbe which resulted in the arrest of Tirso Rebangcus, 41, seizure of three  plastic sachets of shabu weighing 24.4 grams with estimated DDB value of P165,920, a plastic zip lock containing unknown medicine suspected to be party drugs and a plateless motorcycle. 

Both suspects will be charged with violation of Sections 5 and 11 Art. II of R.A. 9165. 

PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Matthew Baccay vowed that the Central Luzon police will continue to launch operations to stop the proliferation of illegal drugs in the region.
