CL cops seize over P900-K shabu, net 5 drug suspects

CAMP OLIVAS – PRO3 director brig. Gen. Matthew Baccay said five suspected drug peddlers were arrested by Central Luzon cops while more than P900,000 worth of shabu were seized in a series of drug operations in Pampanga and Bulacan over the weekend.

Two suspects identified as Hasimra Saripada, a high value target, 35; and Norania Maamor-Saripada, 34, were nabbed by joint elements of PDEU Pampanga PPO and Sto. Tomas police in an entrapment in Sitio Dalakitan, Brgy. San Matias, Sto. Tomas, Pampanga.

Confiscated from them were a black sunglass case containing one large plastic sachet of shabu valued at P408,000, marked money, a cellphone and P2,000 buy-bust money.

Meanwhile, joint operatives of PIU-PDEU, Bulacan PPO, Bulacan 1st PMFC, San Jose Del Monte CPS and SOU3-PDEG conducted a buy-bust in Bgy. Gaya Gaya, City of San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan that resulted to the arrest of Jerry dela Pena, 34; Russel Dimapanag, 54; and Jeffrey Dimapanag, all residents of Bgy. Gaya Gaya.

Seized from the three were 18 plastic sachets of shabu weighing more or less 75 grams with estimated DDB value of P510,000, a .38 revolver, four live bullets, one gun, a black belt bag, and a  weighing scale. 

“We are continuously conducting proactive operations against all forms of illegal drugs in the region and we will not stop until we achieve our quest of a drug-free Central Luzon,” Baccay said.
