The Clark International Airport (CRK) has announced that it is ready for the expected influx of passengers traveling to their holiday destinations and those returning at the close of the season.
Holiday travelers coming in and out of the country from CRK are set to enjoy the luxury of space, safe systems and A-1 amenities.
Located 80 km. northwest of Manila, CRK takes only an hour and a half drive from Manila. For commuting passengers, it has point to point (P2P) services to and from Ninoy Aquino International Airport, Trinoma, Dau, and Baguio City operated by Genesis Transport Services. Victory Liner also operates P2P services to and from Dagupan and Olongapo.
According to CRK airport operator Luzon International Premiere Airport Development or LIPAD, the airport has yet to maximise passenger capacity at its expansive new terminal building, which has an 8 million annual capacity.
Total guests for 2022 to date is 780,000.
Last November, it welcomed 85,000 passengers, 77% of whom were international passengers. This month, December, it has already received 102,000 passengers, with 75% as international passengers.
Aside from lesser times spent on queues, CRK boasts of other features that adds to the pleasant travel experience of its guests.
It employs a one-time security check and has contactless systems available.
The airport also offers a good selection of dining options, including the newly-opened Barcino, Cafe Mary Grace, and TGM Root98. Bluesmith, Peri Peri, and Gong cha are also present at the check in hall where passenger companions are allowed.
Holistic aviation hospitality services – Plaza Premium Lounge and ALLWAYS (Airport Meet & Assist services) are also available.
It also has a lounge available for OFWs and genderless comfort rooms and gender-neutral toilets. There are elevators and escalators in each boarding gate – making the terminal accessible to all.
The four-level terminal is on an area of 110,000 square meters.
