CAMP OLIVAS – One of DILG’s most wanted persons was arrested over the weekend in Pulilan, Bulacan.
PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Matthew Baccay identified the suspect as Edison Umpad, top 6 most wanted in the country and a resident of Bgy. Poblacion, Pulilan, Bulacan.
Umapad was arrested by operatives of Bulacan PHPT together with 301st MC, RHPU3 Intelligence Section, Calumpit MPS and Bulacan 2nd PMFC based on a warrant for violation of RA 6539 or Anti-Carnapping Law.
Baccay lauded the operating troops for a job well done and vowed the continuous arrest of persons sought by law only prove that Central Luzon is no safe haven for criminals.
