Jiro: Home of the Original Volcano Roll

ANGELES CITY – Jiro Sukiyaki Sushi Ramen, the home of the original volcano roll, has gained popularity among fans of Japanese cuisine since 2014. Since then, the restaurant could no longer resist the urge to grow and open new locations.

According to Odilon Luciano, the restaurant’s marketing manager, the volcano roll is “often imitated but never equaled.”

Some of their most popular dishes include ramen, sushi, tuna, and teppanyaki, as well as party platters—a variety of maki rolls that customers can take home.

Why do customers return to Jiro Sukiyaki Sushi Ramen?

Vice Mayor Vicky Vega-Cabigting, who frequently dines at Jiro Sukiyaki Sushi Ramen, describes the Japanese cuisine served at Jiro Sukiyaki Sushi Ramen as delicate and flavorful.

She revealed her favorite three dishes, which include beef teppanyaki. She raved about how tender and juicy the beef is. Second, the sukiyaki made of vegetables, noodles, and beef is served in a steaming, flavorful broth (Japanese style hot pot). Finally, the volcano roll. But wait, there’s more! She also enjoyed the uni sashimi served at the restaurant.

The authentic taste of Japanese food served at Jiro Sukiyaki Sushi Ramen, according to Vega, distinguishes it from other Japanese restaurants in the area. Her favorite part of dining is the ambience.

“It’s the whole package; the food is great, you get great value for your money, and you’re greeted with warm smiles and gracious servers,” Vega said.

The restaurant has also teamed up with delivery services such as Mangan.ph and Food Panda.
