Man nabbed for death of live-in partner in  Angeles City

MEMBERS of the Angeles City police on Friday arrested a man for allegedly killing his live-in partner in this city.

This, after Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. ordered the Angeles police to resolve the senseless death of the victim   within 48 hours.

Angeles City police OIC Col. Jay R.  Cumugad said the victim, Mylene Lising Garcia, 39, a furniture worker and resident of Purok 6B, Visayas Area, Jaoville Compound, Bgy. Pandan, Angeles City, was found dead inside the compound Friday afternoon.

The  suspect was identified as the victim’s live-in partner Danilo Bero Calderon Jr., 42,  a resident of Bgy. Capaya 2, Angeles City.

Garcia’s body was found by a neighbor due to a foul smell emanating from the vacant lot adjacent to his house.

Responding personnel of the Angeles City police Station 3 found the body in a state of decomposition and immediately launched a follow up operation.

Police later identified the suspect as the victim’s live-in partner Calderon, who went into hiding after the discovery of the victim’s death.

He was arrested in Bgy. Dolores, Porac, Pampanga.
