Mutya Ning Angeles 2023 pre-pageant set on Nov. 18

ANGELES CITY — The Mutya Ning Angeles 2023 will hold its pre-pageant on Nov. 18, 2023 at the Angeles University Foundation Sports and Cultural Center.

Seen in photos are the 19 official MNA 2023 candidates in their headshots, captured by Bruno Tiotuico.

The candidates will showcase locally-designed wardrobe during the pre-pageant — from the gowns, swimwear, and shoes exclusively made by Bong Gonzales.

Part of the objectives of the MNA set by Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. is to feature local artists and products to further assist them in their livelihood and provide a larger avenue to introduce their craft.

The MNA is co-presented by Beautéderm Corporation led by President and Chief Executive Officer Rei Anicoche-Tan.

Lazatin also thanked AUF for being the sponsor-venue of the pre-pageant night.

“Dakal pung salamat for being a partner in the prestiguous MNA pageant,” Lazatin said.

Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel, one of the supervising heads of the MNA committee, is inviting Angeleños to support the upcoming prestigious pageant, which will be streamed live via the Angeles City Information Office Facebook page.

Lazatin’s Chief Adviser IC Calaguas, also the MNA committee head, shared that the grand prize for this year’s pageant is P1.5 million, where P500,000 is equivalent to Beautéderm products and BeautéHaus services.

The MNA candidates already went through the talent portion on Nov. 6, 2023 at the Prime City Hotel.

Five candidates will be chosen to perform their talents centerstage during the pre-pageant night.

Meanwhile, the MNA coronation night will be held on Nov. 30, 2023 at the Grand Palazzo Royale.

Part of the working committee of the MNA 2023 are Angeles City Tourism Officer-in-Charge Anneleen Antonio-Sugui, Angeles City Economic Development Investment and Promotions Head Irish Bonus-Llego, Poklong Guina, Frederick Policarpio, Rosette-Ramos-Biag, Marlon Tuazon, Gerome Esguerra, Cecille Flores-Sanchez, and Marna Dagumboy-Del Rosario.
