Pampanga Technopark launched in Mabalacat City

MABALACAT CITY — The Pampanga Technopark — a 200-hectare agro-industrial commercial township in Barangay Tabun here — has just been launched on June 2.

Mayor Crisostomo Garbo led the ceremonial launching, which is the first masterplanned agro-industrial park in Central Luzon developed by AyalaLand Logistics Holdings Corporation.

According to Mayor Garbo, the park is expected to provide 100,000 employment opportunities, recreation, and innovation to the people of Mabalacat City.

The Pampanga Technopark, the Mayor said, is a significant development that will connect commerce and communities through its three phases: Centro, Market Place, and Industrial Zone.

Centro, the heart of the park, will showcase Pampanga cuisine and delicacies, hotels, retail stores, offices, working spaces, and dormitories. Market Place will feature local farmers and businessmen, while the Industrial Zone will house warehouses and logistic hubs, he said.

Mayor Garbo expressed his enthusiasm for the project, stating that it will provide numerous employment opportunities and contribute to the growth and development of Mabalacat City and Central Luzon. He added that the Pampanga Technopark is an excellent example of what can be achieved when the government and private sector work together.

During the ceremony, Jose Emmanuel H. Jalandoni, President and CEO of AyalaLand Logistics Holdings Corp., presented the plans for Pampanga Technopark, emphasizing that it will have a public bus terminal that will connect the park to the nearby cities and provinces, making it accessible and convenient for everyone.
