PDEA Central Luzon nabs 2, rescues female minor in Taguig sting

Two women were apprehended, while their female companion was rescued on Saturday, during an operation conducted by agents of the PDEA Central Luzon in Cocohills Paso St., Barangay Bagumbayan, Taguig City.

The team composed of PDEA Aurora Provincial Office and PDEA-3 Regional Special Enforcement Section, confiscated five plastic sachets containing more or less 175 grams of shabu valued at P1,207,500, the  buy-bust money and assorted drug paraphernalia during the operation.

Authorities identified the  suspects as Mercy Grace Glang, 47, of Cocohills Paso St., Bgy. Bagumbayan, Taguig City and Jennifer Paler, 18, of  MLQ St.,Purok 6,Bgy. Lower Bicutan,Taguig City; while the rescued minor was a 16-year-old female.

The two women will be charged with violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002  while the minor was  turned-over to the Taguig Social Welfare Development Office.
