MABALACAT CITY – Some P158,700 worth of shabu were seized and 10 drug suspects were arrested on Friday in a series of buy-busts by members of the PDEA Pampanga and PDEA Aurora.
The first operation took place in 5th St., Barangay Dapdap, Mabalacat City which resulted to the seizure of 12 grams of shabu valued at P82,800 and apprehension of six drug suspects identified as Marjun Duron, 34; Ponciano Alcantara alias Wawi, 43; Morris Mendoza, 34; Ronald Sevilla, 22; Rose Ann Balani, 34; and Ryan Sevilla, 18 .
Second buy-bust was conducted in Lubao St. that led to the arrest of Edmond J. Garcia, 30, who yielded one gram of shabu worth P6,900.
The third operation resulted in the arrest of three individuals and confiscation of 10 grams of shabu valued at P69,000 and assorted drug paraphernalia.
The last operation took place in 7th Street, Barangay Dapdap, where suspects Jojo A. Caganahan, 39; Rudy D. Basilio, 53; and Rosemarie G. Chavez, 32 were arrested.
All suspects are now detained at the PDEA-3 jail in the City of San Fernando while cases for violation of Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being readied against them.
