PRO3 anti-crime ops yield 500 law violators, over P1.6M in drugs

CAMP OLIVAS – A weeklong anti-crime campaign of the Central Luzon police from October 31 to November 6, resulted to the arrest of 479 law offenders and the seizure of illegal drugs and cash bets.

PRO3 director Brig Gen. Cesar Pasiwen said among the 479 arrests, 229 persons have standing warrants of arrest, 31 are most wanted with strings of warrants of arrest ranging from murder, homicide, and rape.

A total of 235.77grams of shabu with DDB value of P1,598,000 and 202.80 grams of marijuana worth P24,360 were confiscated, as well as assorted firearms from 151 individuals.

Ninety persons were apprehended for illegal gambling including P60,260 bet money while 9 were arrested for violation of special laws.

Pasiwen assured the public of PRO3’s unrelenting commitment to curb all forms of crimes in the region, as the Central Luzon cops remain steadfast in mobilizing its resources and continuous efforts to address lawlessness.
