31 law offenders nabbed in Bulacan

CAMP GEN ALEJO S SANTOS, Bulacan – Six suspects involved in drugs and  25 illegal gamblers on Monday were arrested in an intensified police operation in Bulacan.

Bulacan OIC police director Col. Relly Arnedo said the implementation of search warrant by CSJDM police in Bgy. Minuyan Proper, CSJDM resulted to the arrest of Sonny Tablante, 43, for illegal drugs.

Recovered in the operation were five sachets of shabu weighing approximately 5 grams.

A series of drug sting operations by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Meycauayan, Angat and Guiguinto police led to the arrest of Laurence Tamayo, of Iba, Meycauayan; Gian Carlo Flores, of Sta. Cruz, Angat; John Mark Reynan, of Bgy. Mapulang Lupa, Pandi; Christopher Guillermo, of Malis, Guiguinto; and Rogel Victorioso, of Mahabang Parang, Angono, Rizal.

Seized from them were 11 sachets of suspected shabu and buy-bust money.

Meanwhile, stepped up anti-illegal gambling operations were conducted in Sta. Maria and CSJDM, Bulacan.

Four were arrested in Sta. Maria for illegal cockfighting; CSJDM police arrested three for card bet-game ‘tong-its’, five for ‘cara y cruz’, and nine for billiards-poker; while four were apprehended for ‘mah-jong’ in Sta. Cruz 1, CSJDM by 2nd PMFC.

Recovered in the operations were fighting cocks, gaffs, set of playing cards, billiards set, mah-jong tile set and bet money in different denominations.
