CL cops net over P1.3-M shabu, 5 drug suspects

CAMP OLIVAS – Central Luzon cops over the weekend seized over P1.3 million worth of illegal drugs and arrested five suspected drug peddlers in separate drug busts in Pampanga and Bulacan.

Joint elements of RPDEU-3, SCU3-RID, DEG-SOU3, PIU-Pampanga PPO, and the Floridablanca police nabbed Mark Anthony Dulay alias Macmac, male, of Bgy . Calantas, Floridablanca and seized from him 15 sachets of shabu worth at least P483,000.

In Bulacan, three drug peddlers were apprehended in Bgy. Sta. Cruz, Guiguinto, Bulacan by joint elements of PIU-PDEU Bulacan PPO together with personnel of SOU3-PDEG. The Guiguinto police identified the suspects as Faisal Lawanza; Faisal Rampa; and Makakna Makaangon, all residents of Fairview, Quezon City. 

Some 13 sachets of suspected shabu weighing 60 grams valued at P408,000 were seized from them.

Joint operatives of PIU-PDEU Bulacan PPO together with SOU3-PDEG, and the Malolos police conducted an entrapment in Bgy. Bulihan, Malolos City, Bulacan against factory worker Norhata Hassan, of Bgy. Bulihan, Silang, Cavite.

Seized from her were 10 sachets of shabu worth P476,000 and the marked money.

The suspects will be charged with violation of RA 9165.

“We are relentless in our campaign against illegal drugs and we will keep on conducting anti-drug operations to stop its proliferation, may this serve as a warning to those who are still involved in illegal drug trade and illegal activities,” PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Matthew  Baccay said.
