Due to traffic horror: Motorists ask for traffic aides along Manibaug-Cutcut Road

Motorists plying along Manibaug, Porac, to Cutcut innAngeles City are asking for more police or traffic aide visibility to man the bumper-to-bumper traffic in the area.

They said that travel time from Manibaug to CutCut can take from 1 1/2 to 2 hours before reaching the entry point of the CutCut intersection in Angeles City.

The traffic jam along the said route is due to the influx of vehicles exiting at the Porac Interchange of SCTEx, after the Pasig Potrero bridge has been closed to traffic for safety measures.

A motorist, who is a frequent user of SCTEx, appealed to the local and city governments of Porac and Angeles City to detail policemen or traffic aides to decongest the traffic flow in the area.

“Sana man lang kahit ngayon man lang sarado ang SCTEx magtalaga po ang ating local na pamahalaan ng kapulisan na magmando dito. Kawawa po ang mga motorista na dumadaan dito na walang choice, kung hindi magtyaga,” she said.

Motorists passing through this route came all the way from Subic, Bataan, and Pampanga, some going up North, and others going to Manila.
