ANGELES CITY – The first-ever grand automobile show in Central Luzon was held at the SMX Convention Center Clark over the weekend.

The Ignite Auto Expo held on May 27 to 28 featured some 50 vehicles, most of which were cars.

“This is not just about modern cars but old ones as well. We also have SUVs and trucks. The show also featured car accessories, oils and other things your automobile needs,” said Pau Santos of Big Boys Events.

Tan Tan Basilio, also of the Big Boys Events, said the auto expo was “successful” considering they achieved their goals. Big Boys Events organized the auto expo.

“This is not just the first. We will again organize the second edition of the auto expo,” added Basilio.

There were celebrities, including AJ Raval, gracing the event. There were also bands performing and a food bazaar.

Mitsubishi Motor Philippines Corp. Executive Vice President for Sales and Marketing Division Takanobu Suzuki, who spoke during the opening
ceremony, said they “definitely would join the very hot event.” He marveled at the success of the expo.
