Lubao sends off 44 seasonal farm workers to South Korea

LUBAO, Pampanga — This town, through its employment program, was able to send 44 residents to work as seasonal farm workers in South Korea.

The workers were deployed to the city of Goryeong-gun, where its mayor Lee Nam-Cheol personally received them upon their arrival in Korea.

Before the send off, Mayor Esmeralda G. Pineda reminded the workers of their obligation to the company they will work with as well as to their respective families, asking them to follow South Korean immigration and labor laws for them to secure their jobs in the Korean peninsula.
