MABALACAT CITY — The Mabalacat City College has been honored with the prestigious ALCUCOA Academic Excellence Award 2023 from the Association of Local Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (ALCUCOA).
This award is bestowed upon local colleges and universities that have achieved a remarkable 100% passing rate among their students and/or have produced topnotcher/s.
Out of more than a hundred member institutions, only eight were given this highly sought-after recognition.
The ALCUCOA Academic Excellence Award serves as a testament to MCC’s unwavering commitment to academic excellence, nurturing students’ potential, and fostering an environment conducive to their success.
Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Romeo Erese III received the award on behalf of the institution during the 16th AlCUCOA Annual National Conference at the Manila Hotel on October 2, 2023.
Furthermore, MCC is also among the finalists in the Best Website Award category, which further exemplifies its commitment to innovation and keeping abreast of modern technology to deliver an exceptional online experience for students and stakeholders.
MCC president Dr. Michelle Ong attributed the success to the people of MCC: “This achievement would not have been possible without the relentless efforts of our faculty, staff, and students who consistently strive for excellence in their respective endeavors”.
“I think this is an early gift from the college since my birthday falls on October, a gift that is not only for me but also for our community,” MCC Chairman and City Mayor Crisostomo C. Garbo said.
